Ireland's National Concert Hall is regarded by performing artists as one of the finest concert halls in Europe. At the heart of Dublin's city centre it boasts a thrilling programme of the world's greatest performers and Ireland's finest musicians. With weekly performances by our resident orchestra, the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestras as well as a range of performances and activities covering classical, opera, traditional, jazz, musicals, popular music and education and community outreach, The National Concert Hall is a thriving venue catering for all musical tastes, ranging from the New York Philharmonic to the Chieftains, Cecilia Bartoli to Joan Baez, Lang Lang to Jools Holland and Yo-Yo Ma to Peking Opera, and many more. Our vision for The National Concert Hall is that of a world-leading auditorium and centre of excellence for the performing arts in Ireland. The Hall, on Earlsfort Terrace, is a building worth experiencing on its own merits alone, to say nothing of the exciting performances within it.

Not my first time in this Earlsfort Terrace building but my first time in the National Conert Hall ! ... I was last there as a UCD Engineering student a long time since ... no Pavarotti then I can assure you. This time we were treated to a whistle stop tour of the great mans life and music as portrayed... More

Conveniently located beside St Stephen's Green. Limited parking is available onsite. Music shop, restaurant, cafe and bars ensure plentiful refreshments for all tastes. The conductor for Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes was truly excellent explaining the choices of instruments in the orchestra results in different interpretations of events in films. Special mention to the RTE Orchestra for their exquisite talent.

Visited to hear the RTE Concert Orchestra perform the music of Star Wars. You can only get the correct sound in a purpose built venue and the NCH is that. We had good seats but the acoustics seemed to do their job, I could hear everything from the stage. Decor and trimmings showing age so hopefully the government will invest.

Visit here most Saturdays after the children's music classes and have to say the overall cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Tables are the floor are a mess. The coffee is good but the scones are hit and miss. Come on NCH get with the basics. Ps..young girl making the coffees is very pleasant.

I attend one concert here and the concert hall is small and unimpressive. The seats are old and uncomfortable and while the orchestras are good and you are close, I'd rather save my money. Tickets are very expensive compared to other cities. For example, if you would like to take a family to a concert meant for families and don't... More

This has been one of our bucket list items and wow. The whole building is awesome and its layout intimate. We struggled a little with the seating as the seats are a little challenging for the whole duration so I would suggest stretching those legs at the interval. The bar and concession stands were saturated at the interval so we... More

It is hard to review a concert hall without reviewing what you saw. The concert hall first, good acoustics, comfortable seats, good location. Saw a wonderful production of Bach's St. Matthew's Passion.
