Poor poor poor. This is one of the most disappointing dinners I’ve had in a long time. The beef cheek was fatty with glubby gravy & very little sides. My friends had poor steak which was also a big let down. We will never return!!...More

I went for dinner with two colleagues. Everything took too long. We sat for ages before the order was taken. The wine was delivered relatively promptly. The starters took a long time but were good when they arrived. I had ordered a medium rare steak...More

Restaurant came highly recommend by friends whose opinion I trust. Menu was very promising for its creative use of local ingredients. Appetizers were fantastic- we had the seafood chowder, the potted crab and the cheese croquettes that were a daily special. We drank a perfect...More

We dropped in this charming little restaurant and got a beautiful table by the window overlooking the ha’penny bridge immediately. The staff was quick and extremely friendly. The food was fantastic and so was the large selection of craft beers and wine. 100% recommendation

Tried to dine here, per recommendation. Big mistake. A woman who appeared to be the hostess, was very rude to us. We ordered drinks and the cheese plate and she rudely stated that this was a full service restaurant and " didn't serve snacks." After...More

We stumbled upon this incredible little restaurant during our last day in Dublin. We didn't know what to expect when walking up the winding stairway, and were stood open mouthed at the top! It was a beautiful little dining area, with plenty of light and...More

We got squeezed in here on a busy Saturday night without a reservation (lucky) The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very knowledgeable about both what was in the dish (for allergies) and also for what wines could be best to pair with...More

We looked forward to our 1st visit to the winding stair and booked early pre show. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night but we were so dissapointed in the food. Starter was fine but we both got the lamb. Mine was tough...More
