Great hotel, very friendly staff. Would come again. Beautiful castle with lots of history, 10 minute walk to the ocean. All the homes in the area have lots of character.

The area on Clontarf where I walked was along the seafront or estuary-front. The tide was out so unfortunately you could see quite a level of rubbish in the silt. I saw one bird passing plastic items which can harm birds. Not nice. On my way back to the car I spotted a bin overflowing with rubbish. Clontarf - Nice... More

A wonderful place Excellent restaurants. Great facilities - Tennis, Beach, Golf, Parks, Cricket, Rugby, Gyms. Shops, Pubs and takeaways - all within walking distance. Schools - some of the best in Ireland. A mix of established families and new arrivals.

Great, parks, restaurants, coastal walks and near good schools, the dart and bus routes. Situated on the east coast of Dublin, with views of bull island and Howth on the coast road, it's a quiet village very close to the city centre...only 3 miles from town.

Battle of Clontarf, Brian Borus well, Dollymount, Bull Island, St Annes Park, all come under the guise of Clontarf, the area has got lots going on, lots of restaurants, a few pubs, a park, even a seaside, come on down, it's a wonderful place!

This area appears to be one of the wealthier places in the city. I stayed at the castle hotel and walked around some. It's a really nice area and seemed really safe walking around. I enjoyed it.

Truly memorable afternoon tea experience at the Clontarf Castle Hotel. Wonderful welcome on arrival & hospitality staff were brilliant especially Michelle who looked after us throughout the afternoon. Most amazing selection of cakes/ scones, elegantly displayed.
