This famine village raises a lot of similarity with the living conditions in the peatlands in Drenthe (the Netherlands). We liked the part about "give peace a change" worthwhile. We can recommend this attraction!

doagh famine village was a fantastic educational experience. A hidden treasure of Ireland. Very friendly helpful staff, ideal for disabled people. 5 star rating with a view of Atlantic Ocean. A must do for your bucket list in Donegal . Thank you

Well worth a visit but give yourself enough time for the tour and then have a walk round yourself. Learnt a lot this afternoon.
