I had a pint of beamish, when I finished the pint there was an unidentified black object in the bottom of the glass...mouse droppings or mold from the line perhaps? Who knows? This is the original traditional irish pub. It has THE SWEETEST GUINNESS I've ever tasted, the Craic and the music are second to none.... An absolute must if you're in the area, if you're not, make it your business to get there... If six stars were available Mike would get them

Poc ar Buile is a hidden gem. In balinrostig a tiny village in east cork near Aghada it is a joy to walk in thete to roaring fires in winter and outdoor terrace in the summer. A genuine irish pub full of olde world charm and atmosphere. A must visit pub if you are in the area

This bar is a little gem, very funky and friendly. Mike the owner is extremely relaxed and personable. It is the only pub in the village. Live music on but check what nights. Definitely worth a pit-stop
