My dad died on June 30 so each year on that day I do something he would have loved. Night kayaking with this group was something he would have loved. We were two guides and six people setting out at 10 pm on a cloudy night. Within an hour we could see the sparkles of the biolumenescent creatures. They took... More

Jim made the amazing scenery even more enjoyable with his vast knowledge of all things naturist. This was my 4th trip and enjoyed it as much as the first time. Magical!

Out kayaking last night on Lough Hyne. Beautiful night, beautiful place. The peace and tranquility were truly amazing. Jim our guide set the tone, with just enough history and information to enrich the experience. Plenty of time to embrace the experience. The bio luminescence was magical - a fabulous experience - even if you're not confident in water - you... More

We went and did the nighttime kayaking at Lough Hyne which was amazing. Kayaking in the darkness and absolute quiet was quite the experience. We were also lucky enough to experience the bioluminescence which was great. Jim was a fantastic tour guide and very knowledgable about the area and had some great stories. The experience was very relaxing and you... More

We chose to do this tour because of the hype over the bioluminescent plankton and was not disappointed. Lough Hyne is beautiful both at night and from above if you choose to make the trek up to the lookout. There you'll experience stunning panoramic views and see exactly where you kayaked, the island, and where the ocean feeds into the... More

We did the night kayak on Lough Hyne over the bank holiday weekend. It was amazing. Weather was great. Jim was lovely, an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Lovely relaxing way to spend a few hours. The bioluminescence was amazing. Highly recommend it.

I really am lost for words at how beautiful Loch Hyne is, and kayaking around it is of course the only way to experience it. And doing so during and after dusk is the best time to do this. Declan, our host on the water, was very informative and added some good Irish humour to the evening; he's a top... More

My husband and I did the night time kayaking trip in Skibberdeen. I was so excited to see the bio-luminescence and was not disappointed! I am an experienced kayaker, but this trip could easily be done by beginners. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. he did a great job. A nice mix of keeping the group engaged and on task,... I will be telling everyone I know to come and try it, I can't recommend it enough! As someone who is nervous around water, can't swim and have never kayaked, I wasn't sure this would be for me but I loved every second mainly thanks to our lovely guide Declan! He instantly made me feel at ease and he made... More
