Really nice family trip and the people that run it are soooo nice and so helpful. This is an interesting little tour and very reasonable in price as well

It's beautiful under the sun but generates a long detour on bumpy roads. I strongly recommend to focus on other parts of Wild Atlantic way

I don't what it is about lighthouses but their is such a peaceful beauty about them. You like to see them operating and the history is incredible. Loop Head light house is no exception. It is now fully automated but you can take a tour of the lighthouse and walk out to the very end of Loop Head. There is... More

My hired driver laughed when I said I wanted to go to the Loop Head area from Ennis, saying there was "nothing to see". I loved it and I love off the beaten path areas. There's lots of wild Atlantic Way to see, a light house, places to stop to watch for sea life. I just love being in nature... More

We took a detour around Loop Head on the way from Doolin to Dingle. It does take some time to see the highlights, nearly 3 hours on our way from Doolin to the Killimer ferry in our case - but we did stop to do part of the Kilkee Cliff Walk, to see Loop Head lighthouse, and to see a... More

I was blessed with fine weather so was able to fully enjoy the views of the Atlantic and rugged cliffs. The light house is worth a visit to with a great view from the top and some interesting local history from the guide. Recommend.

the cliffs here are in my opinion far better and more dramatic then the famous Cliffs of Moher. take the north coast road back from the lighthouse it's quiet (no tourist buses) and the cliffs are amazing. The lighthouse itself was closed when we visited, but was in such a dramatic setting (again walk beyond it to see the ocean... More

I was way more impressed with Loophead than Moher, even though it's much smaller in scale. Because it's remote and there are so few people (we saw maybe 4-5 other people walking around) you really get to enjoy the landscape in a different way than Moher. Honestly, the original impetus for going was that we heard the filmed some of... More

Took this little detour on the way to Doolin. It's a bit of a drive from the main road to get here, but it was worth it. Fantastic views of the ocean, cliffs, and Aran Islands. Not a place for a depressed person -- you can walk right off the cliffs. The lighthouse is beautiful, but I didn't go into... More
