There are signs ponting the way to Lydgate Beach off the highway from Lihue. You cannot miss it. There is plenty of parking. As other reviewers have stated, it is an excellent beach to learn to snorkle because there is a little protected area in...More

I love nothing more than walking beaches by myself. Boy did Lydgate park make it easy! There was a beautiful view of the bay and the people were very friendly. Lush and tropical landscape and the paths were well-maintained. I would highly recommend for any...More

This beach has a safe swimming area that is full of fish, good for snorkeling! Restrooms, showers and picnic areas are clean and in good repair. Nice mix of people, couples, families, pets, it's a great park!
