Beautiful white sands, crystal clear waters, calgary bay was truly one of the most stunning beaches I have ever visited. Give the ice cream hut a visit too, you will be pleased you did...

Absolutely lovely beach which is special to us anyways as we celebrated with friends and family after our wedding years ago. We returned this year on a lovely sunny day only to find the carpark rammed with camper vans and other large vehicles as well...More

Ideal for all. Great popular sheltered beach but not overcrowded. Plenty of seats and a picnic table, ice cream shop on the entrance, only shame is they don't do coffees. Perfect place to people watch, read a book or snooze! Met some interesting characters on...More

We were lucky enough to visit on a wonderful sunny day and spent 4 hours enjoying the death, the sea and the coastal walk. If you're visiting then get an ice cream in the wee chop which just tops off a brilliant day out.

We loved this beach - it was beautiful even in the rain!!! Would love to see it in the sunshine. Try and visit if you are on the island.

Calgary Bay is a superb sandy beach with great walks close by. It is easy to reach but you will not find it too busy. It is best in sunshine but even with a low cloud level, it is still a great experience.
