Entry for £1.50. A small but interesting museum with history about the island. Friendly volunteer staff. Worth visiting when popping to the cafe.

An interesting collection, but I found the information boards around the walls of particular interest which helped me understand the difficulties of the crofters and environment.

The museum prides it self on telling the story and history of the people and land of Great Bernera and has an extensive genealogical collection for local families and crofts. Run by volunteers from the Bernera Historical Society, who also run the Iron Age House...More
