Unfriendly and unwelcoming restaurant staff. No driving range. Very old style golf course with 3 blind holes and little room between fairways, greens and tees.

Prestwick gets a rap of being short and "quirky" but its anything but, especially when the wind blows. The history of the place is overwhelming. Just a fantastic golf experience. Nice bar and restaurant on the 2nd floor of the clubhouse. The "drying room" was...More

A wonderful golf course with great history. Reception gentlemen organised for us to play the next day as on the day we were booked the weather was diabolical...thank you again

A most memorable visit. A wonderful golf course & club house. The welcome I received was 2nd to none. Customer service was excellent - from meet & greet, through starter, pro shop and upstairs for a beer and sandwich - post-round. All very friendly and...More

Lovely course, great opening hole. A lot of history in this place. Scenery, with view over industrial areas is not so interesting. Certainly not friendly to visitors who are not allowed in the bar after the round. So imho a bit overrated.More

Played with members two days in a row and clearly played better day 2 when you had a sense of the holes. Members or caddies can point out the target but with some of these holes being quirky (even members agree), having played it once...More

I returned to Prestwick after not having played there for a while and, in a strong wind, it was a real test of golf. Definitely not for beginners, even experienced golfers can struggle here. I am sure that it's easier once you get to know...More
