Seems less welcoming now with bollards all round it and multi coloured benches right in the middle of the grass where we used to kick a ball growing up. Ayr council do a great job of destroying Ayr beach and surrounding areas.

This is a lovely area across the road from the beach. There are benches that look out to sea with the Isle of Arran visable

Immediately next to the beach and the Beach Playpark and Pirate Petes, this is a great location for a family day out. Beach, Toilets, Food, First Aid on immediately at hand along with lots of free parking.

Large space for events like the airshow and the thousands of people that visit and easy to get to. Plenty of facilities. Excellent airshow

This was the place to be for the Scottish Air Show! An excellent vantage point to view the amazing aerobatics! Plenty of food outlets and amusements too.
