We got married here about 14 years ago so this place will always be close to our hearts. Can't say a bad thing about it. LOVE this place especially this time of year when you see so much more with the leaves off the trees. 😙

If you have a National Trust card then you will get the full use of it at Culzean Castle, there's a variety of things happen throughout the year from Easter egg hunts to Jousting. Endless paths to search, endless rock pools to fish in, and pets are welcome too.

Kids playground, nice walks, good for walking dogs and relaxing even when busy. Cafe and shop in Home Farm, with small sweets and ice cream shop at the Swan Pond

The former home of the Marquess of Alisa, chief of the Clan Kennedy (not related to JFK as far as I could ascertain). Now run by the National Trust not only is the house enjoyable, with the exception of a couple of truly ghastly new carpets that the Trust chose which strike a very dud note. The cafe is first... Open walks and Cove play park is very good. The lake is beautiful but if you are older you are best to drive between areas.

We always love visiting Culzean Castle. We can take the children to the play area; walk the dog around the estate; visit the restaurant; look at the animals; visit the castle when it is open; we love the scenery and the wild flowers

Went as a family back in August (age range 2-55) Nice park to walk through, fantastic views, pond to feed the ducks. Fantastic selection of flowers throughout the gardens. Food was nice from the cafe although a bit pretentious for kids, some kids like simple food & i found it really didnt cater for this. Also, a little on the... More

We often take our young grand daughter since she loves feeding the ducks and swans. There is a great play area which caters for all ages. we then go for coffee please note only open at 11am.Its not the cheapest place for coffee but you can get a carry out if your grand daughter has fallen asleep in the car

Even in wintertime it is nice to stroll in the park. The castle is not open though. Also you can walk on the beach and enjoy the nice view.
