Beautiful scenery whichever way you look along the road, particularly as the mountains were snow capped, ice on some of the Lochs and ponds. The view from the viewing area as you come down superb, the vastness and colours incredible. Make sure if walking you...More

This place is a must visit if you love the outdoors and breathtaking scenery. We walked about 10 miles today and climbed to one of the peaks for some of the most beautiful serene views I have taken in. Whether skimming stones across the loch...More

we were blessed with some of the most beautiful views of the moorland. Scotland really does have some of the most stunning countryside in the world.

Beautiful. Lonely. Stunning. Quiet. Take it slow on the A82 and stop off frequently. Don't rush and you'll be rewarded with some incredible scenery. Definitely a highlight of our trip

Was through the Rannoch Moor on our Rabbies Bus Tour. Since it was a beautiful day our driver was kind enough to make an extra stop for photo opportunities. I have to say some of the best photos of our trip were taken here.

The whole area is just stunning We drove up in the heavy rain and dark but then on the morning after the sun came out (it was still cold!) and the colours, the solitude, the snow capped mountains - poetry in nature

My wife and I have been coming to this part of Scotland for a week each year for a while. This year the weather was exceptional, which in turn made the scenes even better. Every turn on the roads there is another great scene. Too...More

Whatever time of year Rannoch Moor never fails to impress us.with its scenic views, not least because our home territory is the flat landscape of the Fens. On every visit we have seen wild deer grazing and spotted birds of prey.
