The experience was great. I was staying in Kinnaird near moulin. I went to the car park for Ben Vrackie which was two and a half miles to the summit and we started up. We went up in the first steep hill and went into...More

An excellent walk for all the family and a good 'first mountain' for young children. We parked in the top car park (get there early as it fills quickly) and headed up. The route is a good path and well sign posted. Initially the path...More

Staying in Moulin and tackled Ben Vrackie with 3 generations of the family. Good easy walking to the Loch however it is a steep climb thereafter to the summit using a stepped path, worth it for the stunning views. Took us 3.5 hours round trip...More

Took us about 4 hours round trip hiking. Great hike but uphill, so not for those not used to walking/hiking long distances. Got some lovely pictures from the top.

Such an easy hill to get to, good parking, well maintained paths and a good work out to boot with stunning scenery

Great walk - no problems in navigation - path is obvious, and well constructed to avoid erosion on steep section en route to summit.

This spot is amazing. The views are great, I was with my kids and they also loved it. We got some good pictures although it wasn't the clearest day ever. Very enjoyable.

A walk starting at the car park just past Moulin lasts around 4 hours. The views of Pitlochry and the surrounding countryside on the way up are spectacular. The climb can be a bit relentless at times if you aren't too fit but there are...More
