Faskally wood is out of this world all year round. In October it becomes the Enchanted Forest of the Highlands. Really pretty and lovely for walks. Red deer and red squirrels all around !

The enchanted forest is just incredible. Firstly, you don't have to worry about parking because the coach from Pitlochry drops you right off at the entrance. It's well worth going round the whole forest a couple of times to take it all in. It's a...More

We parked our car & walked round the lovely path there was a swan sat on its nest near the middle with its mate protecting it if anything went anywhere near the water.

Walking and admiring the views on a hot sunny, windy day and we were very close on the 4th May and saw the huge forest fire. Very scary indeed. Will go back again next year

We enjoyed a lovely visit to Faskaly Wood today although the weather was very unkind to us. The wood was very picturesque with some good walking trails and definitely worth visiting.

We were picked up in town and taken to the woods. Everything was beautiful. You could go at your own pace and take in what most interested you. The guides and actors were most friendly and GOOD FUN.

During a visit to Pitlochry we visited Faskally. Parking was easy and the walks were well signposted.

Had a great time here, light show was brilliant, loved every minute of it, will return in the future, and Pitlochry is lovely.

The woods are open and free except for special events. Parking and toilets. Not sure if there are any guided walk - lovely with ponds and mossy walks. Dogs welcome.

We went on Sat and it was great, lots of young children there. Kids should be fine. The story tellers in the hub cost £1. Toasted mallows on open fire should keep them happy.
