Currently (Jan 2019) the building is under repair. When it was open they had interactive hunts & playthings for the kids. It's scheduled to reopen later this year with a new name in time to celebrate 200 years since James Watt's death.

What a gem. This is a super little museum. Plenty of very interesting displays. You can spend 1/2 hour to 1/2 day in here. Great history of the area, from ship building to sugar and computing.
