This as the first time we have visited Nairn, and I was pleasantly surprised when we parked at the harbour to see beautiful sandy beaches on both sides of the marina. Large, gently shelving beaches: pretty perfect really.

Another beach on the Moray Firth that offers lovely views, fine clean sand and clear blue waters. This whole stretch of coastline is worth enjoying.

Visited family in Inverness and wanted to stay local. Lovely beach and chip shop nearby, not much to do there, there is a few boat trips etc from the harbour but overall just a relaxing place. Dogs allowed too....

You might be forgiven in expecting this to be a picture from the Carribean!! Instead it's the wonderful white sand beach at Nairn. Worth a visit if you are in this part of Scotland.

Beautiful very clean beach with the thrill of seeing the Moray dolpins - not to be missed. Dogs are restricted to certain areas.
