From the bridge overlooking the river, you get a good perspective of the city of Inverness. It also is a good vantage point to photograph the castle. Picturesque, indeed.

River rund through the centre of town, a nice walk along leads you to Ness Islands which are an oasis from hustle and bustle of downtown. Several good restaurants on the river, spend time here if you are in Inverness

This is a lovely walk along the river side - lovely views and changing areas - great for people watching!. Plenty of bridges all the way down so can have a bit of fun changing sides!!
