Well worth a stroll along the river, especially with nice weather. There is a nice park with beautiful (unique) benches to sit and read or people watch. Have a picnic or grab a coffee or ice cream and relax.

We drove from Inverness right around the Loch into Aviemore for lunch and back to Inverness. Lovely sites to see, a beautiful part of Scotland. Not dramatic just post card perfect.

A nice place to stroll on a dry day. We walked both sides of the river, from the castle down to ness islands. Pretty quiet place with a couple of people picnicing, fishing, jogging, and walking. We took our time, stopping at the park benches...More

We started from Whin Park but headed toward Inverness and ended up using the multiple Victorian bridges to hop from island to island. A great way to discover Inverness and the river Ness. Recommended

After a long drive you need to stretch your legs. The River Ness offers lovely walks along its banks to do just this. Enjoy.

Very fitting to the city of Inverness. Bridges for cars. But for pedestrians too. Very shallow. Only kayak?
