I've been to several distilleries, and this is one of the best. The guide Ken was very informative and knowledgeable and it was presented more understandable way than a lot of other distilleries. And besides, the Tomatin whisky is one of my really favorites.

Going to a distillery can be both educational and fun, that's what we had at Tomatin with Fiona. Watching the barrels being drained was a treat! She even put the whiskey investing bug in our ears.

Just wondering what the best way to get from the hotels to the Distillery's if you are staying in Inverness? Is there public transport to get you there?

Hi there, thanks for your enquiry. From Inverness you can reach Tomatin by taxi easily, or there is a Stagecoach bus (34/34X), and some of the Citylink/Megabuses can stop on their way past. For up to date times and bus... More
