Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went on the Dolphin Mischief boat ride and were extremely pleased! Our Skipper was more than helpful and informative, and the company were vigilant regarding safety regulations and covid precautions. It was clear our safety was their main priority due to the efficient rescheduling of our booking to avoid bad weather conditions. We saw many dolphins as well as a few seals, all in all well worth the money!

Just to say thank you to Stuart and Freya for a fabulous trip today. Have been on both Dolphin spirit and mischief previously. So lucky today !my folks and a friend went out at 10am on spirit and from the minute the left the lovely marina complex they observed dolphins playing in the river and it just got better. There was a large pod past the bridge that was apparently normally seen further out by mischief. I can only describe their phone call to me later as pure joy. They said Stuart “skippered” spirit in a very safe and smooth manner and Freya was extremely friendly and informative on the not just the dolphins but other wildlife and local history.
They cannot wait to travel back from skye to go out again. Tremendous value for money lovely modern facilities on shore and immaculately maintained boat and charming crew.
Thank you to Yvette and her team.

The shingle beach in front of the lighthouse at Channonry Point on the Black Isle just North of Inverness is easily the best place to see the Moray Firth dolphins, which come in close to the beach when feeding. Best on a rising tide, a couple of hours after low tide.

We went with Dolphin Watch as part of our Aigas Field Centre Wildlife Week. A very good two hour trip to view Dolphins which also took in seabird nesting cliffs. The Dolphins performed and the seabirds were there in their thousands.
Because Dolphin Watch use a fast boat (and loan Waterproof outer protection!) they can cover the ground (water!) quickly and are therefore more likely to find the resident Dolphins.
A well organised and enjoyable experience.

Took a random trip north to the Black Isle and saw one of the most amazing sites in the British Isles. It was very cold and windy but seeing Dolphins in their natural habitat makes well worth the effort.

Easy to find at end of Northbound Inverness Bridge. Free admission (but please leave a donation guys) with plenty of free binoculars, wall charts, video feeds + underwater microphones. Not guaranteed to see dolphins, but should do during summer months especially. The resident volunteer full of knowledge and anecdotes and more than eager to answer your questions. If nothing else you can watch the nearby bird table instead! What's not to like?

This was brilliant. We saw Dolphins in the sea and the members of staff could not be more helpful. We visited the ice house on the location which was a well worth tour. Spent hours there watching dolphins, activities/shop and just sitting on the beach enjoying the gorgeous setting.

Arrived on a windy and cold May day to be met with "There were dolphins earlier but we don't know where they are now". We then spent a cold fifteen minutes trying to find some sign of them and did see some but they were not particularly visible as they were not jumping and could only be seen through the high power glasses and not the binoculars on offer. Maybe next time!
