Situated in the centre of the attractive village of Beauly, the remains of this priory aren’t particularly expansive, but there is enough of the building left to provide interest, and the very good information boards outline both its functions and historical importance.

Small, but very old. This is what's left --- the ruins of a big priory, remarkably well preserved in such a damp climate! The graves are also interesting and there is no charge, so you walk round freely, absorbing the peaceful atmosphere. You may be...More

We visited here 8 years ago and is definitely a nice place to see and walk around. It is quite small so it won’t take long to see it al but there are plenty of places to see in Beauly or even walk down by...More

Interesting 15 min free visit, share some of the history of the local area. Within town square so convenient as part of a stop off to stretch the legs.

Quite remarkable remains of the Beauly priory and graveyard. Worth driving until Beauly to have a look! Beautiful sights of the firth too!

The explanatory boards are rather short on context, so they tend to raise more questions than they answer. The whole place is not well maintained, so it all feels run down, as if nobody much cares about the poor old place.

We visited here as part of an Outlander Tour. It's a nice little ruin worth of some time and photos. What's left is in relatively good condition.

unexpected find, so had a walk around the grounds whilst filling in time. Good that story boards were available to give you an insite into the history of the place. Shame the locals have allowed the graffiti and rubbish (small amount) to remain.

Just took couple of pictures nice for a reminder. Has a few boards giving a bit of a history about the old priory.
