Played with a group of friends. Very very long course, one of the hardest if not the hardest course I've played on. Our group did make a few pars and a couple of birdies. Be prepared to lose a ball or three! Recommend the hire of a buggy also. Be also prepared to play a four hour round also as... More

I have played numerous course both in the UK and abroad and would rate this as one of the toughest I've ever played. We were fortunate to play on a beautiful windless sunny day and the course was in excellent condition. The views as others have highlighted are stunning once you get into the country and really take your breath... More

A nice course but make sure you have lots of balls! Challenging holes with very little room for error. Liked the picturesque nature of the course. The clubhouse was lovely so worth make use of this.

A championship golf course.... Not in my opinion.. The condition of the course, the greens and the paths need some serious work... The excuse was the winter ... Not true played in Inverness the day before on perfect greens and an immaculate course ... And to add insult to injury £3 for 30 practice balls that the dog wouldn't fetch... At... More

Had the chance to play here earlier this past week when weather was benign in that it was relatively windless and not too cold! This course is up there with the very best in terms of layout and scenery. For those of you who know Aviemore, it nestles below the imposing Cairngorms so in May the growing season has barely... We got lucky with the weather, making this one of the most memorable games of golf for a long time. The course is beautiful, challenging and long - for good golfers it's a must! I definitely recommend a buggy, because there can be long transitions between holes. It was also excellent value for a course this good, even accounting for... More

Returned to this majestic golf course with three friends from Inverness. The weather was glorious, with breathtaking scenery and the course in magnificent condition. Under these conditions I doubt if there is a better golf course anywhere in the country. My day was made more special by having a hole in one at the 6th hole so all in all... More

This is a lovely course to play and enjoy the scenery. I have played it quite a few times now over the last few years but still enjoy it just as much as i did the first time. Its a fairly long course but it has many stunning views and some challenging holes to test even the keenest of golfer.... More

Arrived as part of a group of 25 on a glorious Saturday morning. If you get the weather the setting is stunning. The course is challenging and long but then it is a championship course. The clubhouse is small but elegantly furnished with wonderful views from the large windows. The barman couldn't have been more helpful and lunch was very... More
