Be inspired by the scenery, enjoy relaxing or adventurous outdoor activities, share our passion for delicious estate produce and caravan or camp on the edge of the ancient forest. At the forefront of nature conservation and one of Scotland’s leading tourist attractions, Rothiemurchus Estate is a much loved community asset. We are at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, just outside Aviemore, somewhere quite different and special – a jewel of the Highlands of Scotland.

My daughter tried the Tree Zone here and it's absolutely fun, helpful staff and superb facilities- their primary concern is safety and it's evident! Must go - kids will enjoy. We also tried fishing here- a little expensive but worth the experience. They taught us and also gave us the equipment, bait and nets. My daughter managed to catch a... More

This is a lovely area for walking with amazing scenery. The old school house information centre with its great cafe and gift shop is a must visit too.

Went for a great (long) walk throughout Rothiemurchus with a few colleagues. Some of the scenery is unreal...with the great weather we had, it was hard to believe that we were not in a North American National Park! Would love to go back

Horse owner's attitude was poor to new customers. Poor communication from owner regarding the pony trek. Advert and leaflet said intermediate level was 2 hrs but was actually an hour. However, ponys were not ready on arrival for the hour so the trek was actually just 45 mins. Despite overall a poor experience the girls enjoyed the hack as the... More

Our seven year old took her hire bike, and we walked briskly behind to complete the 3 mile walk around the loch. Natural beauty of this peaceful place left us speechless. Note to keep dogs in leads during the nesting season.

visited the Estate and its coffee shop en route to final destination. Enjoyed its lovely lunch fayre and excellent shop with lots of locally sourced foods. Venue is quite busy so you can expect a little wait for the table.

I had never done this before but my partner had, he said it was certainly better than trips to other shooting ranges and I loved it. I had no idea what to expect but they went through everything thoroughly and professionally. Can't wait to go again.

On the second day of our tour, we started the morning of with a visit here to feed the deer. I didn't know what to expect, but after a little picturesque drive we reached the deer farm. All of the deer were so excited when they saw the tour bus coming, they started running alongside us and coming right up... More

Popped in for information and was surprised to find there was a charge for the hides as coming from Wales where ALL hides are free thought it was disappointing. But staff told us we could see red squirrels further up the road at Glenmore Visitor Centre which we did as soon as we arrived!!! For free!! Coffee shop at Rothiemurchus... More
