Be inspired by the scenery, enjoy relaxing or adventurous outdoor activities, share our passion for delicious estate produce and caravan or camp on the edge of the ancient forest. At the forefront of nature conservation and one of Scotland’s leading tourist attractions, Rothiemurchus Estate is a much loved community asset. beautiful scenery and nice woodland walks.

The activities in the area are really geared to families with children, but can be enjoyed by all. Easy trails.

Fantastic ! Our family ranging from mid 50's to early twenties all loved the experience. The instructors were fabulous, funny and knowledgable ( sorry I cannot recall their names now ) Totally worth a visit if you are in Aviemore, just a short drive up towards the cable car.

Brilliant!! We partook in the Silver Experience -for beginners- which caters for up to a group of 4 and lasts approx. 1 1/2 hrs. We were on a holiday with the extended family age range 29-72yrs and all enjoyed ourselves immensely. Simon -our instructor-was the perfect host and although very humorous he had the perfect knack of explaining things so... More

Myself and my girlfriend went on both of these trips today. Each lasted one hour and both were great! Paul who took us shooting was brilliant and had a good laugh with both of us. We are complete beginners and he was really helpful. The quad biking was with Sarah who was also really friendly and had a laugh with... More

Getting away from civilisation, Rothiemurchus gets you back to nature; well almost. Forests and lochs with good paths allow you to experience scenery and wildlife that is unique in the UK. Rothiemurchus estate offers more, but it is the countryside that is the essence for me.

My wife and I signed up for the Land Rover Tour of the Rothiemurchus estate. When we arrived to begin the tour, we quickly realized that the we had more or less signed up to be ripped off £100. Our guide introduced himself and we, along with another couple were stuck into the Land Rover along with the driver. My... More

I got some fantastic pictures of the Loch and surrounding area. Super walk, mostly flat. I took my Mum with us last time and she is almost 80.

We stumbled on this loch by accident and were glad we did. What a gorgeous place! The only sound came from the squabbling ducks and us munching breakfast with a view. Strongly recommend to anyone who wants a bit of quiet time. If not, less than ten minutes away, is a hive of outdoor activities for all ages at Rothiemurchus.... More

First time on segways for myself(56) , nephew Jacob (12) and niece Daisey (10) , so taster course was ideal. Initial easy excercises to become familiar with the machines then a great time tearing about the field and the varied (relatively easy I think) terrain. Jake had a wee spill near the end but was none the worse for that.... More

Outside service delivered implacably by a delightful young lady. Excellent service and lunch time food, in pleasant setting.
