We visited here in August 2016 to see Eddi Reader as part of the summer nights at the bandstand. The venue is outstanding for an outdoor music venue. It’s very intimate and was exceptional on a summer evening, especially given the fact the weather was...More

Small outdoor amphitheatre that hosts a series of concerts each summer featuring well known acts. We attended two gigs here and were lucky enough that the rain stayed away. Voucher system for bars. A wee bit short of gents toilets but plenty for the ladies...More

Spectacular Venue, not a bad seat or view in the house and given its relatively small nature plenty of outlets for food and drink ( + toilets ). Only caveat is obviously you need the weather, which is never guaranteed in Glasgow. As for the...More

Two nights at this excellent intimate venue with superb sound and lighting. Backdrop of the trees and sky added to the atmosphere as darkness fell. Get there sharp for the central seating though there's probably not a bad spot and, most importantly, there's an efficient,...More

Great place for a gig, first time and hopefully not the last. Looked fantastic later on when the trees and surrounding area was floodlit. More importantly accoutics great. Take a cushion however, as it's a bit numbing on the bottom sitting on a concrete step!...More

Great gig at the bandstand. Acoustics and lights were really good. Easy, well organised entry, friendly helpful security staff. Facilities were also well organised, hassle free token system for drinks, a few good food vendors and the prices were reasonable. Toilets were very clean and plentiful....More

The venue was beautiful and the weather behaved all evening allowing us to enjoy a fantastic night of music and dancing. Designated smoking area beside the Loo and bars which was great. The venue had an intimate vibe which made the evening even more special.

This is a great venue but do you really need to put a "cattle pen" around the area for disabled people ! Shocking and looks like you are having to segregate those with a disability and keep them locked away. And the rail of the...More

I attended Kelvingrove Bandstand for the first time on Saturday, 5th August to see Tom Jones live. First of all, the concert was absolutely tremendous including the support act 'Into The Ark', but the Bandstand itself is a great outdoor venue and we would definitely...More
