The award winning Glasgow Climbing Centre offers a unique rock climbing experience, for people looking for a new sport to enjoy, or for existing climbers just arrived in Glasgow. We make full use of the converted church we are in, with climbing routes stretching up into the original oak beamed ceiling. We offer Bouldering, Top/Bottom roped climbing and Lead climbing with route graded from beginner to elite. Our great eatery, The Balcony Cafe, offers something for climbers and non climbers alike, with alternate vistas of climbing and original stained glass windows. This year we are Hit Listed by The List, as one of the finest cafes in Glasgow.

We visited the centre today as we had booked the introduction to climbing part one and had a fantastic day. Colin, our instructor, was excellent, very informative and extremely encouraging. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I would recommend the Glasgow centre to anyone who's looking for a fun weekend. The staff at the centre were really helpful and took the time with the younger members of our group.

Absolutely awful! Staff have a major attitude problem, was made to feel very unwelcome (was it because I wasn't a climber and with a young child??) there was no structure to the way the cafe was run, staff basically bawled out your order like you...More
