Went to The West End with my partner. It's the place to visit when in Glasgow, loadss of bars, restaurants and shops and it's near the university and has lots of good links to the city centre too.

Was gorgeous weather when we were there, and we enjoyed the space! Its a good idea to find Ashton Lane if you like a hip, craft beer type area.

Have visited Zizi's Italian restaurant many times. have never been disappointed . always great food and service and a lovely atmosphere. Will return asap.

The yard was very impressive. So many statues, stories, names. The hill was very big and it took us at least 30 minutes to climb up and down. But the view made it totally worth it

Beautiful place, a must visit. If you jump on the hop on hop off bus you can visit the West End. Definitely worth it.

The West End is the place to visit when in Glasgow - lots of bars, restaurants and shops - it's near the university and has lots of good links to the city centre although that's not a long walk

Lots of places for the family to eat play and chill out, beautiful parks and the botanic gardens are educational, everybody is friendly and family's are welcome everywhere.

I wouldn't eat or drink in McDonald's as there are numerous coffee shops and tea rooms who would I am sure, make you a hot chocolate drink. We scots you know love to please.

The Oran Mor at the top of Byres Road is probably your best bet.
