What a lovely architecture! While I was there I was thinking of how my years at uni would have been interesting if I studied locally. Definitely worth having a look, its towers, rooms and cloisters are quite amazing.

This university was founded in 1421 and the older parts of the University are really beautiful. The architecture reminds you of Oxford or Cambridge with it many styles and varieties of stepple and tower.

Take a short 10 minute walk down the hill to Byres Road or Ashton Lane, which is a more boutique dining experience, and eat there. Just tell the server you want separate checks before you order. Hope this helps Bob
