Take the time from the hop on hop off bus route to walk through the grounds of this university. Students moving through with purpose and lively conversations bring today’s world to a venerable institution.

This is a magnificent collection of buildings perched high over Glasgow. Most people probably only come up here to visit the associated Hunterian museum and gallery. The architecture is magnificent and one can wander around the courtyards. It is amazing to go to such a...More

The tour of University of Glasgow was terrific. Scottish residents get to attend this place free of charge. Too bad my parents already paid for my education. The place was amazing and steeped in history.

There is metered parking around the Uni, it is a residential area so mostly parking permits.

They DO sell food to Joe public, in a place near the Hunterian Art gallery (it's signposted) but it is very expensive and not very good. Better to go to one of the many places on Byres Road.
