Sitting bored on a weeknight my partner and I decided we wanted to go out. We had seen flyers in the West end and decided to go for a laugh and a drink. The acts were funny and the club was comfortable. Drinks were reasonably...More

We have been a few occasions now, the place is always buzzing, but not overcrowded. The bar staff are always really friendly. Great intimate comedy venue with a variety of acts, touring comedians and some big names. Well worth a try on a free evening.

Went to the club on Saturday 21 July and found it very average . Female compere was excellent but the rest of the acts merely shouted and swore incessantly... Brendan burns in particular was terrible ..... the venue didn’t have enough seating and the staff...More

Hi, I'm sorry the experience was not to your expectations. Comedy is subjective so our acts vary in material and style. Each week we provide a different line-up for our weekend shows. We are a busy venue and we are clear that we have unreserved...More

Absolutely great acts on here. Belly laughs throughout. The acts are varied and so funny to suit all. Can be risqué for those easily offended or who fall foul to being "singled out" by any of the acts which the rest of the crowd love

I attended the Saturday evening show at The Stand and it was brilliant. Drinks are a fair price and the atmosphere is cosy with a real mixed crowd of people. The host of the night Raymond Mearns was full of great banter! Highly recommend this...More

Hi - we do recommend going for doors opening for our weekend shows as they are very popular. I would say to be at the venue for 7.30 on the dot. Unfortunately its impossible to guarantee a seat. Hope you have a great time.
