Took our 2 teenagers, our 4 and 2 year olds . Pre booked tickets took us almost an hour to collect didn’t realise but this wait just prepared us for having to wait almost 20 to 40 minutes for each ride once inside .
Food and drink was over priced just like ever other place now so take your own drinks and sweets and eat before you arrive like we did but just to give you some idea ÂŁ3.00 for a small slush , ÂŁ2.70 coffee and Fizzy drinks . ÂŁ2.20 for fruit shoots . ÂŁ2.50 for chips /fries the puck and mix was about ÂŁ1.70 per100g
The rides take to long to que for and are all over with in 2 minutes at most .
So we ended up using our tokens on games that you had little to no chance of winning .
In addition to rides you had to que for and having paid for , you could also spend your money on the other rides for the kids just to keep them occupied ,there was plenty of these as well as other arcade games.
It is what it is but for us £70 for the 5 of us (the 2 year old was free) seems like a lot of money for what you get I personally don’t think it offers value for money, well it didn’t for me .
Don’t think I’d go again

We attended an event at the SEC this afternoon and the SEC car park charges £11. That’s ridiculous! My daughter said it took longer to get out of the car park at night than the main act was on stage. What a rip off! I’ll find out where else I can park next time we have to go to SEC but it’s not worthwhile taking your car.
I also asked the Information desk guy if he had a list of future events and he told me to look up the website. As the SEC doesn’t produce or advertise a list of events whilst you’re there, I suggest they install a PC which people could use for this purpose. Guy was not in the least bit interested.
Unfortunately, most big events in the west of Scotland are held here so they’re happily raking in the cash and appear to have no interest in customer satisfaction.

Too many people allowed at once. Queues longer than Disney. Kids spent most of time in queues. Costs ÂŁ55 for 4 and you have to pay extra for at least 1/3 of attractions. 4 small chips and 2 bottles of juice ÂŁ20.50. Kids cone ÂŁ2.50. Welcome to Glasgow where Dick Turpin is alive and well.

This years home show (2022) was not worth the ÂŁ13 ticket fee. I had expected interior designers to set up show rooms to inspire my own home, instead it was cheap make up stalls, aggressive window sales people, and charities asking for money. Overall there was about 3 stalls that had anything to do with interior design.

2nd year going to this carnival. Now I can honestly say I will never go again. Prices have went up again even if you don’t want to go on the rides which I don’t. You still need to pay. Bottle of barrs Diet Coke from a shop is about 80p in the snack van £2.50. Portion of small kids size chips with curry sauce £5 absolutely ridiculous. Place is way overrated overpriced the lot. 45mins per ride. Then there’s the parking. £11 in the car park attached. Let’s just try and get as much money out of everyone as quickly as possible even though it’s just been Christmas and it’s the new year. Shocking welcome to the world of money grabbers.

Just been the the Caravan Show Scotland (2 - 5 Feb 2023) at this venue and it was very, very disappointing.
Lots of statics, caravans and campers, etc, to see under the one roof but it seems to be aimed only at people intent on spending ÂŁ25k or (substantially) more!
The usual stalls for accessories etc were more like a car boot sale and it just wasn’t an appealing set up.
Add to that the fact that parking at the venue was £11 (yes, that’s eleven pounds!) for one car and it is clear that caravanning is no longer a budget option!
You’d be better going to the dealers/sites/suppliers directly.

What a waste of a day, unless you enjoy standing in queues, this is an event that is best avoided. The place was far too busy,It seems it’s all about profit, and not about people’s enjoyment. I’m not in any way an event organiser, but would it not make sense to let a certain amount of people in,at anyone time, use their tickets then leave. This would definitely allow folk to have a better experience and would make them want to return,as the way things are,it’s definitely not a good experience! It was my first and last visit,to the Irn Bru Carnival,I’d have more fun sitting at home ripping out my fingernails.

A great venue which is easy to get to, visited the Caravan show
Lots to see and a good day out
Negatives the car park costing ÂŁ11 per visit, we were parked on the west side of the building where the tar is very badly worn and rough. Catering in the centre is expensive and pretty poor quality. Better to eat out in some of the local restaurants

Disappointed with Irn Bru Carnival. It felt like it was all about money and how many people they could get into the venue!
The queues to get on rides were ridiculous and unbelievably lengthy!
Very expensive and will not be back again.
Numbers should have been monitored to prevent such extreme queuing.
Just all about ÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁ
And food & drink prices - unbelievable!
And the charges for the multi-storey car park at the SEC - robbing dogs!
£5.50 up to 1 hr then up to £11. 🤬

Went to the Country Living Fair here yesterday, the first time of visiting an event at the Exhibition centre since before lockdown; travelled up from Inverness. The meal in the main restaurant near foyer, was just awful. So sad, when a few years ago, this was a really good, Italian style restaurant. Previously ate here several times and had great choice of pizzas, cooked to order, fresh side salads, olives and bread plus real Italian desserts and ice creams. It had also been waiter service and less pack them in, close tables. The pizza yesterday, only choice of two, felt as if frozen and heated up, not made to order, no salads at all, had to queue up and pay for first. Dreadful service, dreadful food at an extorberant price - what has happened, it was ghastly! The event itself was OK, not as many stallholders as I would have expected. Also clear that you could have bought two tickets for one if you had a code (I paid for two), also, although tickets were for entry from 2.00, it was clear we could have gone in from 10.00. As we were travelling some distance, this information ahead of time, might have made planning our day easier. A shame everything seems to have gone down since the pandemic, not impressed, especially not with the appalling food, which is no great advert for Glasgow hospitality, which we know can be great.
