Buchanan Street is a great place to wander. It's a wide pedestrian area in the central city. Either side is lined with restaurants and shopping. You'll find something you like.

Very busy but had a lovely buzz about it. Clean with lovely shops. It didn't have too many tacky Scottish shops. Some very talented musicians were there and were great to listen to. Overall, a really pleasant experience.

Street musicians, every imaginable cuisine, and shops galore, it's all right here! Add in a little history and an occasional kilt and it's complete! Street parking can be difficult to come by, especially near the pedestrian only zone, but the parking deck at the Buchanan...More
