Enjoyed our lunch here, the food looks lovely, always seems to be busy. It is nice to just sit and take in the view. We will look forward to returning in the near future.

A gorgeous loch with stunning views make this a great stop when near or passing through Glasgow. Lots of places to take a short but peaceful walk or just sit and relax to destress after the hustle and bustle of Glasgow City.

I lived in Glasgow for a year, and Loc Lomond was the closest and the best destination for a relaxing week-end out of the city. The atmosphere is so quiet and peaceful. I needed this break at the end of the week. Stunning view, infinitude...More

Our tour stopped at Loch Lomond on our way to Loch Ness. The lake is beautiful and has a few hiking trails. We didn't stray too far up the trails as our stop was only 30 min. A plus was the bathrooms had hot water,...More

We stopped by Loch Lomond during a highlands tour. It was stunningly beautiful. As it's quite close to Glasgow, it makes for an easy trip, too!

Amazing beach view of Loch Lomond. Great variety if activities available. Wanted to try the tree activity but unfortunately it wasn't open on Tuesday. Good picnic/bbq spot available. Would go back again for the activities.

Not sure if it was the weather or something but I just didn't fee like this place was all it was made out to be. It's still a really nice quiet area for good walks etc

Hi how to get to Loch Lomond from Glasgow with public transportation please? what would you recommend for touring around the loch on foot? ( we plan to spend a day there ) is there a boat ride accessible available within walking distance ? I heard that the northern part of the loch is beautiful in a boat ride, is it possible to get there from the coach stop ? thank you very much

Trains every 30 mins connect from Glasgow to Balloch. Journey time about 40 mins. You won't "tour around the loch on foot in a day" as the loch is 22 miles long and about 5 miles wide at the southern end. Depends how... More
