Quite amazing, Charles Rennie Mackintosh created some great rooms bright and airy then others which I would describe as dull and dark. All the guides can explain why, but some aspects are beyond me. A good house to visit plus a very nice cafe.

Check their website as it does weddings also and the exhibition changes its opening times upto a week at a time. The cafe has separate opening times and is open to the public more frequent.

Sorry I can answer your question. I was leading a tour, which means the bus driver got us there, with the help of a local who served as a private guide. I bet it's really beautiful there now that summer has arrived. Enjoy!
