Popped in because I saw the sign on the street.

Goodness. There are a lot of police related articles here! I have no connection to the law but found it fascinating none the less. Located in the centre of the city and very... read more

For most people though it will be of some interest but there are probably other places of more general interest. That said it is well presented and the staff are very knowledgeable and interested. The building itself is of some interest and the... More

The exhibits can be a bit gory, so be prepared for that. But it really is an absolutely fascinating history of a slice of Scottish life

If you're at all interested in police or police history, go ahead and check this place out. It's a small little museum, but worth a stop. The staff were some of the most friendly people you could ever meet, and essentially talked to us the whole time we were there and helped us learn more. Although free to visit, I... More

It's Ok for a quick look see with a few interesting stories but not many. I have been to other police museums that were better.

Really interesting wee museum, loads of info about the history of policing in Glasgow and the UK. Great section displaying police uniforms from around the world. Free admission but give generously to keep this part of history going!

A small but very informative museum that primarily focuses on the history and development of Britain's oldest police force, Glasgow, although there is also an international section. It's a pity that the space available is not larger as, having talked to volunteers staffing the museums, there are many more artefacts in storage. How the museum acquired its collection and how... Great wee museum it tells the history of the police in Glasgow right back to it's beginnings when it was part of the police's duties to light the gas street light and waken up workers in the morning it tells of character s in Glasgow and the great trails and all the quiky things of our past great wee visit
