This excellent little museum in the heart of the city has been superbly curated with interesting, informative displays whichever way you turn. The staff (retired officers ??) are attentive and informative with interesting anecdotes to enliven the displays.

The police museum is a nice we place to visit which is free. It's very small but very informative and interesting to see the police uniform change over the years. Very friendly staff also.

Small but staffed by enthusiastic ex-cops. Worth a visit to learn how the FIRST British police force developed
