Best whisky tastings I had over years. Hector was great, has an excellent knowledge of whisky. The shop has the best humidor in town and a good selection of cubans.

Great shop with lovely, friendly, knowledgeable staff, who are always happy to help and take time to find the right whisky and/or cigar for you. Best cigar selection in Edinburgh at the best prices - Daniel is really helpful in taking you through their stock...More

We went here on our last day in Edinburgh and had a wonderful, fun time. We booked the Peat and Smoke whiskey tasting, though the tasting was held with 2 other groups of people who were tasting different whiskies. Nonetheless, Hector gave a very well-rounded...More

Daniel was our “tour guide” during our visit, which far exceeded the expectations I had for a scotch tasting. We showed up 30 minutes before closing, expecting a few short tastes and an explanation of each bottle. Instead, we got a one hour, sit down...More

Came for a Regions whiksy tasting. Hector was an excellent and entertaining tutor. We learned a great deal about the ancient history of whisky making, and its more “modern” iterations in Scotland and beyond. We were provided a wide range of tastes and are now...More

Husband and friends went for 40th birthday and had the best time. Host was friendly and knowledgeable and even the non-whisky drinkers had a great time there. Don't go anywhere else in Edinburgh for a whisky tasting.

One of the best whisky tastings I have been to over the years. Informative without being dry, with an unusual choice of whiskies. Our tutor Hector had a genuine passion and excellent knowledge for his subject. It was also very good value for money and...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
