The tram service is excellent. Conductor also excellent. However, beware, the airport bus is £4.00 cheaper on a single ticket. With the tram you also have to share with local commuters, whereas the bus is only airport travellers.More

As an Edinburgh resident I remain to be convinced that there is any advantage to taking the tram - in my opinion the bus is more convenient and faster with more stops.

The Park and Ride at Edinburgh airport is quite good, however Tram network travel payment system queues mean that it is easy to miss your tram due to the long and very slow queues at pay stations. It must be said that this is a...More

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the Park and Ride Kiosk is closed for refurbishment and this has led to queues at our ticket machines. We have deployed staff to the platform to assist customers during this busy festival period.

If you are coming into the city from the West, park your car at the pay and ride and use the tram into the heart of Edinburgh. Great views too.
