While walking through New Town in Edinburgh we found several pubs and restaurants from which to choose. We were glad we chose this one. Quaint and cozy, it was just what we were looking for. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Stopped here for a drink prior to going to see a play, service was quick and friendly. The pub was busy and had a great atmosphere. Seating outside was clean and area well kept. Would go back

We stopped by for lunch. I had a pie and my wife had fish and chips. We both enjoyed our meal but it was nothing extraordinary. Traditional food in a traditional pub. Friendly staff.

Popped in here for lunch between shows at the Fringe. Guest ale changes regularly and yummy though pricey. The food we had was excellent. Burgers and chips but lovely burgers in soft brioche buns, mine with haggis, cheese and a pepper sauce. Delicious. If you...More

Great pub. Beer good, lager good. We were having some crafty birthday beers and was a pleasure. Would definitely return
