There are other fishmongers in Edinburgh, others in Marchmont no less, but anyone going to those shops really are missing out. Eddie's fish is best. You can taste the difference. Sometimes cliches are true too.

Lovely staff, very knowledgeable and happy to answer all questions regarding preparation/cooking. Often a long line out the door, worth the wait.

We searched the Internet for fishmonger in Edinburgh and found Eddie 's, and we were not disappointed! We bought excellent fresh wild cod and oysters. Great service too. You can only pay by cash .
