This beautiful park is situated in a really lovely neighbourhood. The level paving across the park makes for a good running track, and the views around the park are great! You can even see a peak of Arthur's seat from one spot! I would recommend...More

Lovely place to have a walk, great for a picnic or to hang out on a nice day. There isn't anything exceptional though and it can get busy.

The attached photo was taken in Inverleitn Park recently. A good place to be for solitude or to enjoy with friends. Saw little grebes on the pond recently and heard reports of a water rail. Is the water rail still around?

Large open space with views to the Royal Mile on the horizon. Relaxed family atmosphere. Cricket being played on a hot Saturday in August. Lovely for a stroll, to let kids run wild, or just for some quiet meditation.

This is close to where we live so we come here quite a bit. Nice place to relax on a warm day. The pond is really nice, too.

Just downhill of New Town and attractively straddling
a river near the elegant Royal Botanic Garden, it’s
small wonder that Stockbridge became one of the city’s
first hip neighbourhoods. It’s now one of Edinburgh’s
most desirable, though many bohemian touches have
fallen away as its residents have matured and the area
has gentrified. Some second-hand shops cling on, but
mostly residents display refined tastes in basement
