In need of a rest - here is the best place to see the City's landmarks. Very informative staff and reasonably priced. It was fascinating to see how a old mechanical attraction still gave an excellent opportunity in today's modern world.

While some of the exhibits (the pictures) were of course optical illusions that you can see on the internet, the vast majority of them are astounding and really fun to explore in person and definitely don't warrant the few negative reviews this place has. We...More

We wanted an attraction that was inside so picked the Camera Obscura and World of illusions. We had no idea it was as old an attraction as it was. We are three adults without children so the following applies to adults: each exhibition was interesting...More

If you book online generally you get it cheaper, still have to queue but it moves quickly. The show is weather dependent but readmission is free if the weather is bad, it was foggy when we went but we still had great fun.

Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
