A large park in the city. It is peaceful and large enough to walk, jog or run, as many clearly do. When you get tired of the city traffic this is a good area to relax. It offers some great views of the city.

On a dry clear day enjoy the views and fresh air. If it has been wet wear some good shoes or boots. The climb up Arthurs Seat is worthwhile for the views

It can be as short or long as you would like. It great break from touristy stuff. Scenery was awesome and a step away from downtown. There are grasses to cliffs!

little brother of Arthurs Seat but also nice. If you don't need to up to Arthurs Seat, use Holyrood Park, but if you are there, you should go up :-) it is not so havey, and you have also a very beautifull view

While my daughter took a stroll to the top of Arthur’s seat, I took a stroll through Holyrood Castle. It was simply wonderful seeing the past while envisioning the present. Well worth the admission!

Ideal for a stroll and you get some great views of the city, especially if you take the path taking you to the top of Arthur’s Seat.

A long and windy trek to the summit but well worth the effort. Fantastic views over Edinburgh. A must see.

The majority of Holyrood Park would remain open to pedestrian access, although small areas around the Palace may experience restrictions from time to time. There will be vehicle restrictions on Garden Party day. And there... More
