I love walking along Princes Street for the backdrop of the Old town, Castle and gardens. Shame about the quality of the shops these days. Bring back the old much more grand stores of my childhood please!

You can find here most of the common brands of UK. Sometimes is difficult to walk around. Probably when the tram is finished... hehehe

Not sure I am entirely correct, but I did most of my shopping on this street. The major UK shops and International chain stores can be found on Princes Street.
