Many years ago came here with the children, now enjoy the surroundings. It is well kept by a local group, and right on the seafront.

The rocks didn't seem to have grown much since my previous visit. Maybe the groundkeeper has been neglecting them.

Lovely location for a walk - either on the way to Broughty Ferry / Monifieth or just to visit itself. Well maintained gardens, looked after by a team of volunteers. Lots of quiet places to sit, on a lovely day - or to wander round.

A joy to sit, admire the endeavours of others and enjoy the views and appreciate the peace and plants.

The Rock Garden can be combined with a walk on the adjoining beach, various plants tended by local Friends of the Rock Garden.

We came across the garden at the end of our walk along the 'promenade' at Broughty Ferry. It is small and compact but a lot of work has gone into making it look like a large rockery.

On a nice day it's a lovely spot to sit and watch walkers, dogs, the Tay, and hopefully dolphins leaping in the estuary. Just mind the rabbits!

On the opposite side of the road from Brought Ferry Beach, walk through the plantings of trees, shrubs & flower beds, sit & relax by the waterfall & ponds, or use a picnic table & spend a little longer. We had our wedding photos taken...More
