Arrived about 1.30 pm for a break during a day of long distance driving. Enjoyed a light lunch in the cafe. Received good service and enjoyable food. The shop area catered for many areas of tastes and hip pockets. Managed to make a reasonable contribution...More

Moffat Woolen Mill is a favourite stop-off place for coach parties and travellers generally. The restaurant attached to the shop offers good food at reasonable prices (unlike the rip-off prices on some motorway service areas!) My wife and I were there recently with a party...More

This was a coach stop en route to Fort William. There is certainly sufficient space in the seating area to accommodate coach parties but when we arrived they had run out of certain items, so choice was limited. I would have thought the coach operators...More

We arrived at 10am, the carpark entrance was badly maintained and it needs a good weed and potholes filled in. A disgrace to what you expect for a major stopover for coaches. Inside the shop was freezing cold, damp and musty. The clothes and gifts...More

Lots of Scottish products ranging from food, clothes whiskies, video's, and music as well as novelties. Where is also a restaurant. It is rare not to find coaches in the large car park it is a compulsory stop over for visiting Moffat.

Met up with family travelling north with 2 small children. Chose to sit in the brighter conservatory area, it was a very wet day. Fortunate to avoid coach party arrivals, and served very quickly. Childrens boxes enjoyed and adults had beef in rolls or macaroni...More

Without a doubt a tourist trap, but the staff is friendly and genuinely helpful. If you are looking for typical souvenir tat, or Scottish paraphernalia in general, then this is definitely the place to look in the region.
