A great selection of pictures and art, brilliantly presented in an amazing transformation of an old town hall, with a great cafe, excellent access with a lift to all floors. Worth a visit just for the architectural conversion but the galleries offer far more.

A fantastic addition to the town. Very interesting local artists and visiting exhibitions. The cafe is the best place to have a light lunch, tea or coffee.

The new use for the old town hall is real progress. There is so much to see, Sadly we only had time for a quick look around.

Went to see Landseer's Monarch of the Glen painting. What a marvellous opportunity in little Kirkcudbright! The museum is bright, modern and free. Lots of other fine art exhibits on three floors. A splendid amenity.
