This is a fine building with great history. The custodian at the time of our visit was pleasant and welcoming, but did not appear to have much idea about the process; a project in need of leadership and organisation

I suppose it's going to be be pot luck with what's on display. Sadly there wasn't anything of interest to me on this visit. Maybe next time.

It has a lovely gift shop and tea room on the ground floor. Unfortunately we came on a day when one art installation had been removed and the next one not yet set up.

An interesting centre for knowledge on Kbt Artists with video screening the story of Kirkcudbright Artists currently being updated. John Paul Jones jail cell might be a good idea but alas no!

Visited with family ... Lovely staff. Art exhibition for local students. An informative audio visual as to why Kirkudbright became known as the Artists How. Well worth a visit.
